The programs and activities we performed
are given below.
THE SENIOR CITIZEN WELFARE ASSOCIATION HTC is registered vide Registration Number 1652 of 2018 on 24th September, 2018 by the Office of the Regigister of Societies, Ranga Reddy District, Government of Telangana.
1. Senior Citizen Welfare Association HUDA Trade Centre, Serilingampally, Ranga Reddy district was regitered on 24th September 2018 by Office of the The Senior Citizen Welfare Association honoured the best teachers, on the occasion of Teachers Day (The birthday 5th September 1888, of Ex. President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan).
2. Inspiring Speach was given by Dr. A Jayanth Kumar on the Occation Distribution of Medals and Appreciation Certificates to Students of Classes 6 to 10 on 15th August, 2019.
3. The Association encouraged Government school students of classes 6 to 10, by giving Silver Medals to First and Second rankers along with Certificate of Appreciation on 15th August, 2019.
4. Get-Together Party -Held on 26th December, 2022 at At Botanical Garden, Kondapur, Hyderabad.
The participants of the party forgot all house-hold activities and enjoyed happily from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. This became one of the beautiful memory.
5. The President Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar explained the Objective and Need of Get-Together party.
the Treasurer V. Venu Mohana Rao explained about the activities going to be conducted in the Get-Together Party.
Ramanamui Srinivasa Rao the General Secretary thanked all the members for their cooperation in conducting the program successfully.
The Vice-President supported the the Organisers to make the program successes.
A lucky draw was held among all the participants in the Get-Together Party, out of all the participants only one luckiest person was choosen by a lucky-dip with the help of a small kid called from outside.
Mr. K. Vijay Kumar garu retired SBI employ was choosen as the luckiest person.
He was declared as MAN OF THE DAY.
He was given a small prize as token of memory through the hands of one of our Advisors and Organising Committee Member Mr V. Narasimha Rao garu.
6. A place was alloted by our MLA Gandhi garu for construction of Senior Citizen building and a shed was built in the place provided with the help of Corporater Nagender Yadav garu.
7. A letter was submitted to the Carporator for further action in the construction of building. The need of a building for senior citizens was brought to the notice of our MLA Gandhi garu.
8. A decession was taken to honour all senior citizen members who attained 75 years and above as super seniors.
K. Krishnamurty garu (Sahasra chandra Darshanam), Vadlamani Satyanarayana Murty garu, Sistla Subrahmanyam garu, Sista seetaramanjaneyulu garu, Anand Prasad garu were honored as super seniors.
9. A program "OKA MANCHI MAATA" is going to be organised every month to devolop moral values, cultural values etc.
Our super senior member K. Krishna Murty garu gave a small speech about "Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam" in the "OKA MANCHI MAATA" program.
10. A program "DOCTOR GARI AAROGYA SALAHAALU" is going to be organised every month to keep all our senior citizens healthy and fit.
Our senior member Dr. C. Manik Prabhu garu gave a small speech about "In-take of water by senior citizens" in the "DOCTOR GARI AAROGYA SALAHAALU" program and also he cleared the doubts of members.
11. Under the program " Doctor gaari salahaalu" in the month of July 2023, the prostate, its construction, functions, possible deceases, diagnosis tets, treatment, medication and precautions to be taken were discussed.
12. The program question hour is ment to clarify all sorts of doubts by members.
13. A new program "Laughing Exercise" has been introduced. All the members will stand in their places and laugh loudly for 2 minutes. B. Ram prasad is made incharge for thi program. He has to plan many ways to make the members to laugh. It was advised to the members of the group when ever possible, while walking are any or sitting in the park provide little time to laugh loudly without any hesitation.
14. The August 2023 meeting was held happily by greeting a happy birthday to the members whose birthday is in August. New embers were invited in to the group. The super Senior Narsi Reddy garu was honoured. Paid tribute to prajakavi Gaddar garu with 2 minutes of scilence. Then OKA MACHI MAATA, Laughing Exercise, DOCTOR GAARI SALAHAALU about memory loss in aged people and precautions to be taken were discussed.
15. On the occation of 76th Independence day, competitions and games like chess, carams, reciting poems, singing songs, memory games, Tag and Brand were conducted. Prizes for the winners and runners were awarded through the hands of Corporator garu.
16. All the members, who have birthday in september were greeted by all the members of the Association.
Dr. S Manohar garu, Satyanarayana garu, Maruthi Ram garu, K. Pandurangaih garu and Prof. Jayanth Kumar garu were honoured on the occation of teacher's day.
Advices were invited by the members to make association more stronger and the meetings more attractive.
Two get-together parties, one in November and other in Februry were planed. It was decided to constitute a committee for its progress and to impliment the plan of action.
The president invited advices to increase the membership. He gave an idea to think about women-membership and extension of association to surrounding colonies.
A new programme "SARADAAGAA KAASEPU" was introduced, which is an extension of LAUGHING EXERCISE. This programme can contain games, singing, story telling, Jokes under Haasyavallari, anthyaakshari or any other such programmes along with Laughing Exercise.
It was also decided to have Yoga/Exercise class every Sunday from 8.00am to 8.30am by V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu for senior Citizens.
17. The members Buchaiah garu, B. Chandra Shekhar garu, Dr. S. Manohar Rao garu, B. Annapoorna Rao garu have birthdays in October. They were greeted by all the association members.
As 2nd October is also an occation of Gandhi jayanthi and Shastriji jayanthi all the members remembered them and their sacrifices.
Buchaiah garu (28/10/1942) was honoured as Super Senior by the association members.
The responsibility was given to Get-together committee to fix the place and organize the program in a smooth way on expenditure sharing basis.
Dr. Prabhu explained reasons for fall in oldage and precautions to be taken.
A 2-minute Laughing exercise was performed by all the members.
18. Newly joined as members of our association;

Get together party:
i. Get-together party is going to be held at Ananthagiri hills.
ii. The program includes; Anatha padmanabha swamy darshan and Karteeka Vana Bhojanalu.
iii. The program is going to be held on 22nd November, 2023 from 7:30am to 7:30 pm.
Under the program 'Oka Manchu Mata' Anand Prasad garu spoke about ethical values from all Kandas of Ramayana with special focus on Sundera kanda.
Under the program 'Saradaga Kaasepu', The in-charge B Ramprasad garu started a 2-minute Laughing exercise with all members in standing position.
19. A get-together party (Karteeka Vana Bhojanalu) was organized by Senior Citizen Welfare Association on non-profitable, non-commercial basis with 50 members. The program included Sri Anantha Padmanaabha Swamy temple in Ananthagiri hills, Vikarabad, then Bugga RamalingEswara swamy temple, Karteeka deepotsavam by women participents, the origin of Muchukunda river (now called as Musi river). A form house was choosen for Karteeka Vana Bhojanalu. After lunch, entertainment programs like singing, musical chair, tambole was conducted. started the return journey after evening snacks. All the participants enjoyed the trip from morning 7.30am to 8pm. An excellent feedback was received by the association.
20. The 15th monthly meeting was held on 11th December, 2023. The treasurer introduced financial report of gettogether party. A deficiency of Rs3385.00 was adjusted from association account. The feedback received about the get-together party was excellent. All the members requested for one more gettogether party in Februry, 2024. GH Panchakshari garu, B Annapoorna Rao garu, GV Prasad garu, Bhaskar Garu, V Krishnam Raju garu have birthdays in this month (December). All the members greeted them a happy birthday. Dr. Jayanth Kumar garu, B Annapoorna Rao garu spoke a few words in "OKA MANCHI MAATA" programme. An aerobic dance and laughing exercise were conducted in the prograam "SARADAAGAA KAASEPU".
21. In the 16th monthly meeting fel on 01/01/2024, hence, the new year celebrations were organised. all the members wished a happy new year, 2024 mutually. As the president was out of station the advisor, V. Narasimha Rao garu organized the meeting. all the discussions and submission of financial report are postponed to next meeting.
22. In the 17th monthly meeting, held on 5th Februry, all the members having birthday in Februry were greeted by all association members. It was decided to conduct get-together party on 28th Februry, from morning 9pm to evening 7pm. After thorogh study, The place was decided as Gandipet Park. The amount charged is Rs800 for singles and Rs1500 for couples. A hundread rupee concession was given to encourage couple-envolvement. 11.00am Hot-tea, lunch, evening snacks and tea will be provided. The entertainment programs will be arranged in the middle of the day. 20th Februry 2024 is the lastday for payment of the subscription amount. latter Doctor gaari salahaalu, Aerobic dance and laughing exercise were conducted under Saradaagaa kaasepu.
23. The Bhoomi pooja (laying Corner stone) was performed on 14th February, 2024 the auspicious day Vasanth Panchami (Sree Panchami) at 9:30 AM, for renovation of Senior Citizens Building renovation programme. A big gathering of senior citizens attended the programme. In response to the call of President Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar, the members voluntarily came forward and contributed Rs.1,70,000 on the spot. Every member spoke about the good step taken towards construction of ‘Senior Citizens Building’.
24. The 18th monthly meeting was held on 4th March,2024 at 5pm in the Ramalayam. All the members born in March were greeted a happy birthday by all association members. All the members expressed their happiness regarding organizing get-together party in an excellent manner. All together 40 senior citizens particpated in the get-together. total amount collected is Rs30,600. Total expencess is Rs26,680. The balance left over is R mes3,920. This amount has been deposited in the association account. The whole story about shed for senior citizens during last 5 years till today was explained by the president. He also requested about the need of members cooperation. The members responded immediately by rising donations. Next, doctor gaari salahaalu and question hour were conducted. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by K Pandurangaiah garu.
25. The 19thspecial meeting the Association was held on 19th March 2024 in premises of Senior citizen Association site at 4.30 PM.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss about getting the site, preserving site since 5 years and gradual development of the shed.

The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar gave a call for furthur donations to the completion of the project and requested for advices on donations from outside the association. Many members came forward and spontaneously donated about Rs.75,000. Furthur members suggested few names from whome donations can be collected. All the members shared their views in the meeting.
26. The 20th monthly meeting of our Association was held on 1st April, 2024 in premises of Senior Citizen Association Site at 4.30 PM.

All the members of the Association heartfully greeted happy birthday to the above members individually.
The President shared the latest developments about shed construction.The members who has not contributed yet, gave donations for construction. Few members contributed for second time.
27. The Main Entrance Door frame fixture Pooja was performed on 26th April, 2024 at 10:44 AM. Senior Citizens in large number participated in the programme and expressed their full cooperation to the Executive Committee.
28. The 21st monthly meeting was held on 6th May, 2024 at 5.00PM in the premises of Senior Citizen Welfare Association Building. All the members extended birthday greetings to the members born in in the month of May. Narasimha Rao Garu shared the details of the construction of building. Venu Mohana Rao Garu put forward the financial report till date. Dr. CM Prabhu Garu suggested to conduct a chit which gives income to the association and every body accepted and came forward to pay Rs5000 per month. The first month amount will be given to Association. Remaining amount is distributed to members on the basis of draw. Pandurangaiah Garu and Jayanth Kumar Garu were requested to plan about the amount, term and method of draw and payment
29. The 22nd monthly meeting of senior citizen welfare association was held ON 3rd June, 2024 in the premises of our office at 5:00 PM. Birthday greetings were extended by all members to the members born in the month of June. Narasimha Rao Garu explained the developments in the building construction. All the members expressed their opinion about construction of building and the future needs. The members including chit holders unanimously decided to pay an equal amount of Rs55,000/- every month to the winner in the draw. Draw will be held on 10th of and amount will be paid on 12th of every month. Dr CM Prabhu Garu explained about ECG, 2D echo, Cardiogram, TMT, CT scan and Angiogram. In “DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU” program.
30. After extending birthday greetings of the members born in July, A. Ramulu (ID No. 94) introduced himself to the association members. The President explained detals of building construction and future plans. The members unanimously agreed to run another chit of Rs5000 per month with the comossion of Rs5000 each to meet the expenses of association. K.Krishnamurty garu won the draw held for first chit (Series 1). The meeting was concluded with voteof thanks by P Bhaskar garu.
31. Birthday greetings were extended to all members born in August. D. Sudhakar won the draw in the first chit (series 1). The second chit (series 2) started. this first month chit amount is paid to Association. Details of building were discussed. The efforts of Narasimha Rao garu VenumohanaRao garu and Pandu rangaiah garu in the completion of building construction was appreciated with claps. It was decided to inagurate the building on 12th of August, 2024 at 5.00 am. Volunteers were requested to to be helpful in the Inaguration function to make it a grand success. Discussed about the first independence day celebrations in the association building. Dr. Prabhu garu spoke about possible deceases precautions and their remidies.
32. A grand successful inagural function of SENIOR CITIZEN BHAVAN was held from 5.00am to 4.00 pm with sponsored breakfast and lunch.
33. The first Independence day program was celebrated at association Office. The President hoisted the tri-colored National flag at 830 am. the large gathering of senior citizens witnessed the hoisting of National flag.
34. The 25th monthly meeting held on 9th September,2024. After greeting the members who has birthday in September, President expressed is happiness for conducting the first monthly meeting in our own building. He also thanked Ch. Hanumanth Rao Garu for his generous help by providing Grills to windows and 50-inch TV worth about Rs55,000, excluding the previous donation of Rs15,000.
Venu Mohan Rao Garu presented the financial statement in brief with a deficit of Rs1,75,000-00.
Dr CM Prabhu Garu explained about viral diseases in the program “DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU”.
Dr CM Prabhu Garu announced to organize health camp from 8.00 AM to 10:30 AM on 5th of every month at his own cost. This month health camp is going to be held on 16th third Monday.
The draw was held by the members for the chit of Series -1. Ramachandruni Subrahmanya Sai Garu won the draw.
The amount of Rs55,000-00 will be paid to him on or before 12th September, 2024.

35. Medical camp was organized in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 16-09-2024 from 8.00 am to 11.30 am with the sponrship of Dr. C. Manik Prabbu garu and Dr. Sudha Rani Garu every month regularly.
The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked Dr. Prabhu Garu and Dr. Sudha Rani Garu for the greate contribution of conducting Medical camp every month.
36. The October 2024 medical camp was organized in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 15-10-2024 from 8.00 am to 11.30 am with the sponrship of Dr. C. Manik Prabbu garu.
The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked Dr. Prabhu Garu for the greate contribution of conducting Medical camp.
37. A WELLNESS CAMP was conducted in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 27-10-2024 from 4.00 PM to 6.30 PM by BMS Wellnest organization.
38. The 27th meeting was held on 9th November, 2024 at 5.00 PM in senior citizen Bhavan.
The President thanked all the donors for their contribution towards tables, chairs, benches, Almirahs and wash room construction.
All the members having birthday in November were greeted happy birthday.
It was decided to enhance AMC Rs 500/- to Rs1000/- with effect from January. Karteeka vanabhOjanaalu Get-together to be conducted on 27th November,2024 at Senior Citizen Bhavan from 11.00AM to 5.00PM with tea, lunch, evening snacks, tea along with entertainment program.
Draw was held for both the chits, Winner of series – 1 is Dr. C. Manik Prabhu and for series – 2 is K. Kistaiah.
The Monthly Medical camp will be conducted on 16th of November, 2024 from 8.00AM to 11.00AM in the senior citizen bhavan.
39. A Medical Camp was organized at Senior Citizen Bhavan on 16th November 2024 from 8.30 AM to 11.00 AM.
40. The Kaarteeka Vana Bhojana Mahotsavam was celebrated on 27th November 2024. The event began with the Kaarteeka Deepotsavam (lightning of diyaas) at the Amla tree. The president addressed the participants, sharing insights about the need, formation and development of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association. Following this, the couples were introduced. After a delicious lunch, the program continued with singing and a Tambola game. The event reached its highlight with a dance performance by both singles and couples. The program concluded with feedback and a vote of thanks.
41. The Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav Garu was honoured by members in senior citizen bhavan. President Jayanth Kumar offered heartfelt thanks to the Corporator. The corporator assured Senior Citizens that he will be along with senior citizens in all aspects.
42. The 28th General body meeting was held on 9th December 2024.
Birthday greetings were extended by all the members to the members born in December.
New members were introduced and invited in to the association.

As per byelaws, and two-year term was completed; election notification was released for all the 9 posts.
The election date is decided as 9th January 2025, in the regular General body meeting.
An election officer is going to be appointed on 2nd or 3rd January 2025. Nominations / filled-in proposals duly signed will have to be submitted to Acting General Secretary K. Pandurangaiah garu or to the appointed election officer in a sealed cover.
After the general body meeting, election will be held if necessary and an oath taking program after winners are declared. The elected Executive Committee can nominate from members of the association for unfilled posts if any.
The Executive committee can appoint sub-committees as and when required, binding to the byelaws.
43. Our MLA Arikepudi Gandhi Garu was invited to senior Citizen Bhavan on 15th December 2024. The association members were very much excited to honour the MLA. The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked MLA Garu for suggesting the suitable place for Senior Citizen Bhavan and great support for fonstructing such a beautiful building for senior citizens. He briefly explained dificulties in constructing the building. The MLA Gandhi Garu promised that he will behind senior citizens always. He suggested the committee to grow only useful plants and trees that produce fruits,flowers and medicinal plants.
44. The HUDA Trade Centre Colony President Srinivas Goud Garu was honoured by Senior Citizen members at Senior Citizen Bhavan on 18th December 2024.
45. The association organized a One-day CPR training Program on 21 December 2024 by Dr. M Sreedhar Consultant & Head of Emergency Medicine, Citizen Hospital, Nallagandla.
46. The new year celebrations took palce in Senior Citizen Bhavan in a grand way from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on 1st January 2025. and the women division celebrates new year celebrations on 2nd January 2025.
47. As per BYELAWS and resolution passed in 28th Gneral Body meeting P. Satyanarayana Murty Garu Lt. Col. has been appointed as election officer and took charge on 3rd January 2025. He opened the process for submition of Nominations from 3rd to 9th January 2025. After closing the nominations a withdrawal time for 15 minutes will be given. Elections will be conducted if needed. Then announcement of results, Oath-Taking ceremony will be followed.
48. The 29th General body meeting was held on 9th January 2025 at 4:00 PM in Senior Citizen Bhavan. After welcoming the members newmembers introduced to the association. all the members greeted a happy birthday to the members born in January. Treasurer V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu presented the detailed financial report and it was accepted by General Body. The president disolved the executive body.
Election officer started election process for 2025 & 2026 by taking nominations, scrutiny of nominations, calling for withdrawals. There was only one nomination for each post of the main body, and hence, the election officer declared the results as unanimously elected body.

As nominations for four executive members were not received, the General Body advised the main body to nominate them before next meeting.
Newly elected office bearers were invited onto the dias. The process of Oath-Taking Ceremony and signing of declaration by newly elected office bearers was administered by Election officer.
Latter all the elected office bearers spoke a few words about future plans to develop the association and its activities.
49. The 76th Republic celebrations were organised in a grand way in Senior Citizen Bhavan. Unveiling of the National flag was held at 8:30 AM. After completing the unveiling of National Flag, all the senior citizens attended Republic day celebration at Green park in HTC colony.
In the evening cultural programs started at 3:30 PM with singing of patriotic songs. Then, a skit followed by Prize distribution. Finally, General Secretary V. Narasimha Rao Garu presented vote of thanks.
50. A Medical camp with the help of doctors and technicians team from Citizens hospital was held on 2nd of February 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
The Health Check Package consisted of Height, Weight, BMI, BP, GRBS, ECG, Physician Consultation along with Ophthalmology and Dental check up.
51. The 30th General Body meeting was held on 9th Februry 2025 at 5:00 PM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan. After birthday greetings and inviting new members in to the association. The nominated exicutive members were called on to the dias and Oath-taking performed by the nominated exicutive members. The nominated Convener Organising committee P. Bhaskar, Convener Games and Cultural Committee V. Yadaiah and were called on to the dias and introduced to the members of association. Both chits were drawn. K. Vijay Kumar (SBI) won in the series 1 and Prakash Reddy won in series 2. The treasurer Venu mohana Rao presented financial report in the General Body meeting. General body decided to spend AMC money only for maintanance unless it is decided by the exicutive committee. Any function or any activity can be performed with the money collected in the form of donation or can look forward for a sponrship. Dr. C. Manik Prabhu spoke about body pains and possible exercises to avoide them in DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU program.
52. All deemed members (spouses of members) celebrated International Women's day on 8th of March 2025 in the senior citizen bhavan.
53. The Therty first General Body meeting was held on 9th of March 2025 at 5:30 PM. After new members introduction, birthday greetings and Doctor gari Salahalu, the get-together at ICRISAT was arranged on 23rd March 2025 with a participation fee of Rs 700 per person. The need of Community in whats App group and need of visitors book was explained it was agreed by all the members.
54. A Get-together party in ICRISAT was organized on 23 March 2025 from 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM with breakfast, lunch and snacks in the evening with tea/coffee in millet cups.
A recriational program was conducted in the afternoon session.
55. "UGADI SAMABARAALU" program was organized in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 30th March on the occation of Telugu new year.
56. The Therty second General Body meeting was held on 9th of April 2025 at 5:30 PM. After new members introduction, birthday greetings, Lakshman Goud garu sponsored Shawls to members having birthday in April. Under "Doctor gari Salahalu" program Dr C. M. Prabhu Garu explained various diseases of mouth and throat, chit winners are Yadaiah Garu and MVV Kameswar Rao Garu. Chit amount Rs55,000 was handed over to Yadaiah garu. President thanked all the members for enourmous cooperation in organizing, get-together at ICRISAT, Ugadi sambaralu in the office. G. V. Rao Garu submitted the details of Get-togethe account and left-over Rs 1775 was handed over to to the association.
57. All Deemed Members (spouses of members) had meeting on 13th of April 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan.
58. The felicitation of Jagadeeswar Goud Garu was organised on 28th April 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall at 6 PM. Jagadeeswar Goud garu promised to support senior citizens always.
57. Meeting of all Deemed Members (spouses of members) was organised on 5th of May 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan from 4 PM to 7 PM.
58. The Therty third General Body meeting was held on 9th of May 2025 from 5:30 PM onwards. After new members introduction, birthday greetings, Lakshman Goud garu sponsored Shawls to members having birthday in May. The second series lottery of the association’s chit fund was conducted, and A. Subbarao Garu emerged as the winner. A new chit started with Rs 10000.00 subscription to clear the remaining debts. Treasurer & Finance Secretary V. Venu Mohan Rao Garu, provided details of the donors who contributed financially or in kind towards the construction of the building. The responsibility for maintaining the stock register and office records was assigned to K.K. Sharma Garu. The President emphasized the need to create a reserve fund for events like Independence Day, Republic Day, and for repairs and garden maintenance. Some members proposed a voluntary contribution of around ₹5,000 per person. The meeting unanimously resolved to increase the membership fee for new members to ₹5,000, broken down as follows: ₹200 (Membership), ₹1,000 (AMC), and ₹3,800 (Reserve Fund).
A two-minute silence was observed during the April 28 meeting in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam attacks, praying for the peace of their souls. In solidarity with the Government of India and our armed forces, all members collectively took the following Solidarity Pledge:

59. The Therty fourth General body meeting was held on 9th june 2025 from 5PM onwards in senior citizen bhavan meeting hall. Newmembers T Devender Reddy Garu, Palakurthy Shyam Kumar Garu and Tangirala Sita rama Rao Garu were invited in to the association. A homage was paid the soul of Late seetaramanjaneyulu who passed away on 15th May 2025. Mebers having birthday in June were honoured with Shawl with courtesy of Ch. Lakshman Goud Garu. Fanancial updates of recent transactions were explained by V. Venumohan Rao Garu. The President congradulated and thanked all the contributers for makung the association debt-free. President also congradulated the donors of inveter. V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu explained about dital payment method using QR code. President in his remarks said that there are no groups in the association. all are senior citizen association family members only. No tag of Joly friends should be used for photos tag must be only senior citizens.
60. HEARING TEST CAMP was organized by Senior Citizen Welfare Association in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall on 21st June 2025 from 10;30 AM to 2:00 PM with the courtesy of Aanvi hearing solutions. 53 members utilized the facility.
61. GURU PURNIMA celebrations were organised by Senior Citizen Welfare Association in the Senior Citizen Bhavan meeting hall with the initiation of V. Yadaiah Garu at 6:30PM on 10th of July 2025. The Gurus honoured by the association were; K. Krishna Murty Garu, Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar Garu, Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu, K. Pandu Rangaiah Garu, S. Madhusudhan Rao Garu, Maruthiram Garu, I. Shouraiah Garu, Dr. Gogu Venkateswar Rao Garu (An invitee). Later, participating members and honourees shared their views, feelings and experiences in the felicitation meeting.
62. The 35th meeting was held on 21st July 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Meeting Hall. The new members K. Vijayanand Garu, V.P. Raju Garu and Tangirala Seeta Rama Rao Garu were cordially invited in to the association with claps. A 2-minute silence was observed for the sad demise of Dr. C. Sudha Rani, convenor womens wing. Many people shared their experiences with her. The third series chit draw was conducted. the winner is K. Buchi Reddy Garu. The birthday celebrations for the members born in July were conducted. honouring them with shalws and claps. the meeting was adjourned with vote of thanks by Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu.
63. The meeting of women's wing was held on 3rd August 2025 from 3;30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. Mrs Rama Sita was elected as Convenor for women's wing.
64. The 36th meeting was held on 9th August 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The new members V. P Raju Garu, K. Vijayanand Garu and P. L. Sreenivas Garu were cordially invited in to the association with claps. K. Vijayanand Garu and P. L. Sreenivas Garu introduced themselves to the association members. The birthday celebrations of the members born in August were conducted by honouring them with shawls and claps. It was announced that, the 79th Independence Day celebrations will start with tricolored flag hosting at 8:30 am on 15th August 2025. The 4th chit of third series was conducted by G. Venkateswar Rao Garu. Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu was selected as winner by lottery. The Finance Secretary cum Treasurer V. Venomohana Rao Garu submitted latest position of financial status of Association. The present status is with zero balance. V. Narasimha Rao Garu and many others spoke about corpus fund. President declared that the corpus fund is voluntary donation. He requested the members to pay for smooth running of association. Finally, The Ex-President of Colony Narasimha Reddy Garu was felicitated by Association members.
65. The Association members attended Vratam after marriage of Bhattiprolu Sai Ram son of Maruthi Ram Garu association member on 10th August 2025 and blessed the couple.
66. The Association Members felicitated Ragam Nagender Yadav Garu Corporator SeriLingampally on his birthday celebration on 10th August 2025.
67. The tricolor Natioal flag was hoisted by the President of association at 8:30AM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan on 15th August 2025 in the 79th Independence day celebrations.
68. The World Senior Citizen Day was celebrated on 21st August 2025 at Senior Citizen Bhavan. A group photo was taken after refreshments.
69. Teacher's Day was celebrated on 5th September in a grand way by honouring the teacher-members of the association.
70. The Women members Meeting was held on 4th September 2025 in the senior citizen meeting hall. Various activities were organised during meeting period 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
71. The 37th General Body meeting was held on 9th September 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The new members Y V Chalapathi Rao Garu and Penta Reddy Garu were cordially invited into the association with claps. They both, introduced themselves to the association members. The birthday celebrations of the members born in August were conducted by honouring them with shawls and claps. President thanked all the members for making all the programs successful. The 5th chit of third series was conducted jointly by K. Pandurangaiah Garu and G. Venkateswar Rao Garu. D. Sudhakar Garu won the lottery. The President put forth an apeal for generous contribution to the association. He requested enthoustic senior citizens to participate in the story writing compitition as detals are already shared in group. The president shared a message of being like a pencil, with the help of pencil and eraser story and folded paper story.Tthe meeting was concluded with vote of thanks.
72. On the occation of Alzheimers day 21st september, the Senior Citizen Team attended an awareness program at Citizen Hospital, Nallagandla on 20th September 2025, to take necessary precautions to avoid it and steps for taking care of patients suffering from Alzheimers.
73. On the occation of World Heart Day on 29th September celebrated on 28th September, 2025 with awareness talk by Dr. Pthuri Avinaash Cosultant-Interventional Cardiologist from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. Then all the partcipants were undergone BP, random blood sugar tests along with 2-D Echo with the help of Citizen hospital staff from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The program was initiated by T. Ramaswaamy, convener, Friends wefare association.
74. Alai Balai program was held at Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall in the evening of 3rd Octobar, 2025. All the participant members greeted each other and shared their views about the importence of alai balai program. Refreshments were served at the end of program. The program cocluded with Group photo.
75. Women members meeting was held at Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall in the evening on 5th Octobar, 2025 from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
76. The 38th General Body meeting was held on 9th October 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in October. President reminded the members to pay corpus fund dues. The draw for the 6th chit of third series was conducted. Ch. Lakshman Garu won the lotery. Dr C. Manik Prabhu Garu spoke abot Dementia, the precautions and the care to be taken. Karteeka vanabhojanaalu (an in-home get-together) is going to be organised in the month of November 2025. A committee is going to be constituted to plan the program. President thanked the team members for attending V Venu Mohana Rao Garu, Dr. S Manohar Rao Garu, D Sudhakar Garu and wishing them for their speedy recovery. President also thanked the members for making Alzheimer's day, world heart day with health camp and Alai Balai programs successful. The president in his thoughtful talk suggested the members to consider any member's message as a way of letting us know that he is healthy and active even if the message is unnecessary and irrelevant. He further added that, regardless of position or designation we retired from, we all are equal after retirement, such as the king, minister, or any other pawn in the chess, lie in the same box after the game, we simply call them pawns. 77. The Deepavali Sambaraalu program was celebrated on 20th October 2025 from 6:30 pm onwards. All the members gathered to celebrate deepavali sambaraalu at senior citizen bhavan by 6:30 PM. All the members shared their views of organizing a gettogether on Diwali day. All the members greated mutually. Later refreshments (sweets and hot) was served to members. Finally, all the members enjoyed in lighting the crakers.
78. The 39th General Body meeting was held on 9th November 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in November. The draw for the 7th chit of third series was conducted. A. Ramulu Garu won the lotery. The President announced that the Kartika vabhojanaamlu Get-together will be on 13 November, 2025 from 10AM to 6PM. President announced that the MOU has been signed with Star Hospitals under the programm STAR SAMMAAN for benifit of the senior members. A free mega health camp is going to be organized on 23rd November, 2025 by Star Hospitals.
79. The Kaartika Vana Bhojanaalu Program was held on 13th November 2025 from 10:00 am to 6.00pm in Senior Citizen Bhavan. The program started with lightning diyas near Amla tree and worshiping it. A meeting was followed by pooja. The importence of lightining diyas, importence of Amla tree was shared by B. Annapoorna Rao Garu and Jayanth Kumar Garu. Lunch was arranged under the trees. The entertainment programs like, Tambola, singing songs, Antyakshari, Musical chairs program was conducted. Vasantha Kumari was sellected as woman of the day and B. Srinivas Rao as man of the day by the lottery. Snacks and tea were served in the evening. The program ended with vote of thanks to all members for making the program grand success.
80. The Mega Health Camp was held by Star Hospitals on 23rd November 2025 from 09:00 am to 2 pm in Senior Citizen Bhavan. The camp consisted of RBS test, BP and Weight check, Orthopedic, opthamology, Dental, Pulmanory Function Test, ECG, 2D Echo, Internal Medicine and Physician consltation were arraged. 75 members Utilised this opportunity.
President thanked all the members for making the program a grand success.
81. The Citizens Sweet Circle Program was held by Citizen Hospitals, Nallagandla on 29th November 2025 from 3PM to 6PM in their meeting hall.
The Senior Citizen Team attended the program on a personal invitation extended by the organizing committee, led by Dr. Anusha Patimalla.
During the session, a panel of doctors delivered insightful presentations on diabetes, including its types, causes, and recommended preventive measures. Several speakers also reflected on ancient practices and traditional games, highlighting their role in promoting overall well-being and healthy living. They further discussed the impact of modern lifestyles and how present-day habits are contributing to declining health.
The President of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association, Dr. Jayanth Kumar, was invited to the dais to share his views on the connection between ancient and modern wellness systems, and on the importance of passing knowledge and experiences of grandparents to the younger generations whenever and wherever possible.
The program concluded with a friendly get-together over tea and snacks, followed by the distribution of return gifts to all participants.
82. The 40th General Body meeting was held on 9th December 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in December. The 8th chit of third series lucky draw was conducted. K. Pandurangaiah Garu won the lotery. He was paid an amount of Rs 120000/- as chit amount. The Finance Secretary V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu submitted the account pertaining to Karteeka Vanabhojanaalu. The deficit amount of Rs1200.00 was met from association account. The president in his address requested the members to pay Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) before end of December 2025, so that it becomes easy to allot budget in forth comming year 2026. President furthur announced that the association has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on 25th November 2025 with Citizen Hospitals. All the members can utilize the benifits of MOU. Individuals aged 60 years and above are eligible for free membership. The Association-issued ID card may be used as proof of membership.
83. The Conference of 2025-Health Reality and 2026- Health Resolutions was held by Star Hospitals on 23th of December 2025 in PRAMANA KNOWLEDGE HUB meeting hall at Star Hospitals Nanakramguda. In this conference, various diseases that are common in youth were discussed and outcomes were given as resolutions to be taken in the comming year named as 2026-Year of Healing. On the invitation of Star Hospitals Management, the team of senior citizens attended the program and understood the common mistakes we do. Depending on the Reality Check in 2025, decided to take Health Resolutions tobe implimented in 2026-Year of Healing.
84. The New Year Celebrations - 2026 were held in a grand way on 1st January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan Premises from 11am to 6pm. Members and deemed members attended the program in large number. The lunch and snacks were sponsored by few members of the association. The Tambola and singing songs were part of the program. The atteded members and deemed members shared their feed back of the program.
85. The 41st General Body meeting was held on 9th January 2026 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started by inviting new members Mr. K. Tippeswamy Garu, Mr. K. Seetaramayya Garu and Mr. Gummadi Durgaprasad Garu. After inviting and self introduction. The members who have birthday in January were felicitated with shawls and greetings. The 9th chit of third series lucky draw was conducted. M. Anand Prasad Garu won the lotery. Mr. Kashi Viswanath Garu spoke about Army Day tobe held on 15 January. Mr. V. Yadaiah Garu thanked all the members for making the Newyear celebrations successful. The balance amount of Rs1100.00 left over after expences was handedover to the President of association. 86. The GHMC Sanction Order for Financial Assistance of Rs50,000.00 for procurement of material and Rs6,000.00 per month as care taker salary, vide Proc.No.UCD/GHMC/2025/382687, Dated 20.01.2026.
The President anounced about this financial assistant to the senior citizen members and it was celebrated by Senior Citizens on 20th January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall.
87. The Voters day celebrations were organised from 24th to 26th January 2026. On 24th January 2026, Dr Jayanth Kumar Garu President oh the association along with Jt. Secretary K Pandurangaiah Garu were invited by Dy. Commissioner, Serilingampally. DC honoured them with shawl and flower pot. The voters day pledge was taken by all the members. On the next day 25th January 2026, all the exicutive members took an othe on the occation of voters day. On the next day on the occation of Republic day, 26th January 2026, the importance of voters day was explained by president of association, all the members took pledge to be impartial and to vote as per law without any kind of selfish moto.
88. The Republic Day Celebration was organised on 26th January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan.
On the occation of Republic day celebrations Games and Sports were coducted for senior members and deemed members from 16th January to 24th January 2026.
Unfurling of National Flag at the top of flagpole was performed by the President of association.
The 'Vandemataram' song written by Bankim chandra Chatterjee in his novel 'Anand Math' on November 7,1875, during Akshaya Navami. This song took an important role in Independence-War. As this song completed 150 years, the Central Government announced to celebrate "Year-Long Commemoration" from November 7, 2025 to November 7, 2026. In this context, 'Full Song of Vandemataram' was sung by Senior Citizen Members and Deemed Members along with T Seetha Rama Rao Garu.
Later, all the participants took pledge on account of 'Voter day" on 25th January.
The prize distribution was done by the hands of President.
The program was cocluded with refreshments served to the members.
89. The The 42nd Monthly Meeting was held on 9th February 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan at 5.00 PM.
After bitthday celebrations, Finaance secretary cum Treasurer presented Financial report pertaining to 2025 and members approved the report with a standing ovation.
Representatives from ICICI Bank, Lingampally Branch, explained to senior citizens the simple procedure for completing KYC. the steps to be taken be seniors to be cautious about cyber crimes.
The 10th chit draw was conducted, Mr. K. Vijay Kumar won the lucky draw and the amount has been disbursed to him.
All GHMC officers were thanked by the President of association for sactioning Rs50,000.00 for devilopment of aminities and Rs6000.00 per month for honororium of care-taker.
90. The Free Hearing Test Camp was held on 14th Februry 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan from 9:30 AM to 1.00 PM.
'HEARZAP' hearing aid providers sponsored this free camp. Furthur they assured to provide hearing instrument to needy people at a discounted rate.
Many colony residents also utilized this opportunity of free hearing test program.
91. The Special 43rd Meeting was held on 17th Februry 2026 in the presence of Smt V. Nagamalliswari Garu, the Project officer, GCMC, Serilingampally circle in Senior Citizen Bhavan from 11:00 AM onwards.
The Project officer expressed her happiness by looking at the maintanance of building and the garden arround it.
The main purpose of this meeting was 'formation of Aasara Committee'. As per the directions of the Project officer, Aasara committee members were elected unanimously. The minutes of the meeting were signed by members and a copy of minutes was submitted to the Project officer.
The senior citizen members thanked the Project officer for helping them in the sanction of financial assistance to the association. The President of the association felicitated the Project officer with shawl.

President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan).
2. Inspiring Speach was given by Dr. A Jayanth Kumar on the Occation Distribution of Medals and Appreciation Certificates to Students of Classes 6 to 10 on 15th August, 2019.
3. The Association encouraged Government school students of classes 6 to 10, by giving Silver Medals to First and Second rankers along with Certificate of Appreciation on 15th August, 2019.
4. Get-Together Party -Held on 26th December, 2022 at At Botanical Garden, Kondapur, Hyderabad.
The participants of the party forgot all house-hold activities and enjoyed happily from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. This became one of the beautiful memory.

7. A letter was submitted to the Carporator for further action in the construction of building. The need of a building for senior citizens was brought to the notice of our MLA Gandhi garu.
8. A decession was taken to honour all senior citizen members who attained 75 years and above as super seniors.
K. Krishnamurty garu (Sahasra chandra Darshanam), Vadlamani Satyanarayana Murty garu, Sistla Subrahmanyam garu, Sista seetaramanjaneyulu garu, Anand Prasad garu were honored as super seniors.
9. A program "OKA MANCHI MAATA" is going to be organised every month to devolop moral values, cultural values etc.
Our super senior member K. Krishna Murty garu gave a small speech about "Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam" in the "OKA MANCHI MAATA" program.
10. A program "DOCTOR GARI AAROGYA SALAHAALU" is going to be organised every month to keep all our senior citizens healthy and fit.
Our senior member Dr. C. Manik Prabhu garu gave a small speech about "In-take of water by senior citizens" in the "DOCTOR GARI AAROGYA SALAHAALU" program and also he cleared the doubts of members.
11. Under the program " Doctor gaari salahaalu" in the month of July 2023, the prostate, its construction, functions, possible deceases, diagnosis tets, treatment, medication and precautions to be taken were discussed.
12. The program question hour is ment to clarify all sorts of doubts by members.
13. A new program "Laughing Exercise" has been introduced. All the members will stand in their places and laugh loudly for 2 minutes. B. Ram prasad is made incharge for thi program. He has to plan many ways to make the members to laugh. It was advised to the members of the group when ever possible, while walking are any or sitting in the park provide little time to laugh loudly without any hesitation.
14. The August 2023 meeting was held happily by greeting a happy birthday to the members whose birthday is in August. New embers were invited in to the group. The super Senior Narsi Reddy garu was honoured. Paid tribute to prajakavi Gaddar garu with 2 minutes of scilence. Then OKA MACHI MAATA, Laughing Exercise, DOCTOR GAARI SALAHAALU about memory loss in aged people and precautions to be taken were discussed.
15. On the occation of 76th Independence day, competitions and games like chess, carams, reciting poems, singing songs, memory games, Tag and Brand were conducted. Prizes for the winners and runners were awarded through the hands of Corporator garu.
16. All the members, who have birthday in september were greeted by all the members of the Association.
Dr. S Manohar garu, Satyanarayana garu, Maruthi Ram garu, K. Pandurangaih garu and Prof. Jayanth Kumar garu were honoured on the occation of teacher's day.
Advices were invited by the members to make association more stronger and the meetings more attractive.
Two get-together parties, one in November and other in Februry were planed. It was decided to constitute a committee for its progress and to impliment the plan of action.
The president invited advices to increase the membership. He gave an idea to think about women-membership and extension of association to surrounding colonies.
A new programme "SARADAAGAA KAASEPU" was introduced, which is an extension of LAUGHING EXERCISE. This programme can contain games, singing, story telling, Jokes under Haasyavallari, anthyaakshari or any other such programmes along with Laughing Exercise.
It was also decided to have Yoga/Exercise class every Sunday from 8.00am to 8.30am by V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu for senior Citizens.
17. The members Buchaiah garu, B. Chandra Shekhar garu, Dr. S. Manohar Rao garu, B. Annapoorna Rao garu have birthdays in October. They were greeted by all the association members.
As 2nd October is also an occation of Gandhi jayanthi and Shastriji jayanthi all the members remembered them and their sacrifices.
Buchaiah garu (28/10/1942) was honoured as Super Senior by the association members.
The responsibility was given to Get-together committee to fix the place and organize the program in a smooth way on expenditure sharing basis.
Dr. Prabhu explained reasons for fall in oldage and precautions to be taken.

Under the program 'Oka Manchu Mata' Anand Prasad garu spoke about ethical values from all Kandas of Ramayana with special focus on Sundera kanda.
Under the program 'Saradaga Kaasepu', The in-charge B Ramprasad garu started a 2-minute Laughing exercise with all members in standing position.
19. A get-together party (Karteeka Vana Bhojanalu) was organized by Senior Citizen Welfare Association on non-profitable, non-commercial basis with 50 members. The program included Sri Anantha Padmanaabha Swamy temple in Ananthagiri hills, Vikarabad, then Bugga RamalingEswara swamy temple, Karteeka deepotsavam by women participents, the origin of Muchukunda river (now called as Musi river). A form house was choosen for Karteeka Vana Bhojanalu. After lunch, entertainment programs like singing, musical chair, tambole was conducted. started the return journey after evening snacks. All the participants enjoyed the trip from morning 7.30am to 8pm. An excellent feedback was received by the association.
20. The 15th monthly meeting was held on 11th December, 2023. The treasurer introduced financial report of gettogether party. A deficiency of Rs3385.00 was adjusted from association account. The feedback received about the get-together party was excellent. All the members requested for one more gettogether party in Februry, 2024. GH Panchakshari garu, B Annapoorna Rao garu, GV Prasad garu, Bhaskar Garu, V Krishnam Raju garu have birthdays in this month (December). All the members greeted them a happy birthday. Dr. Jayanth Kumar garu, B Annapoorna Rao garu spoke a few words in "OKA MANCHI MAATA" programme. An aerobic dance and laughing exercise were conducted in the prograam "SARADAAGAA KAASEPU".
21. In the 16th monthly meeting fel on 01/01/2024, hence, the new year celebrations were organised. all the members wished a happy new year, 2024 mutually. As the president was out of station the advisor, V. Narasimha Rao garu organized the meeting. all the discussions and submission of financial report are postponed to next meeting.
22. In the 17th monthly meeting, held on 5th Februry, all the members having birthday in Februry were greeted by all association members. It was decided to conduct get-together party on 28th Februry, from morning 9pm to evening 7pm. After thorogh study, The place was decided as Gandipet Park. The amount charged is Rs800 for singles and Rs1500 for couples. A hundread rupee concession was given to encourage couple-envolvement. 11.00am Hot-tea, lunch, evening snacks and tea will be provided. The entertainment programs will be arranged in the middle of the day. 20th Februry 2024 is the lastday for payment of the subscription amount. latter Doctor gaari salahaalu, Aerobic dance and laughing exercise were conducted under Saradaagaa kaasepu.
23. The Bhoomi pooja (laying Corner stone) was performed on 14th February, 2024 the auspicious day Vasanth Panchami (Sree Panchami) at 9:30 AM, for renovation of Senior Citizens Building renovation programme. A big gathering of senior citizens attended the programme. In response to the call of President Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar, the members voluntarily came forward and contributed Rs.1,70,000 on the spot. Every member spoke about the good step taken towards construction of ‘Senior Citizens Building’.
24. The 18th monthly meeting was held on 4th March,2024 at 5pm in the Ramalayam. All the members born in March were greeted a happy birthday by all association members. All the members expressed their happiness regarding organizing get-together party in an excellent manner. All together 40 senior citizens particpated in the get-together. total amount collected is Rs30,600. Total expencess is Rs26,680. The balance left over is R mes3,920. This amount has been deposited in the association account. The whole story about shed for senior citizens during last 5 years till today was explained by the president. He also requested about the need of members cooperation. The members responded immediately by rising donations. Next, doctor gaari salahaalu and question hour were conducted. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by K Pandurangaiah garu.
25. The 19thspecial meeting the Association was held on 19th March 2024 in premises of Senior citizen Association site at 4.30 PM.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss about getting the site, preserving site since 5 years and gradual development of the shed.

The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar gave a call for furthur donations to the completion of the project and requested for advices on donations from outside the association. Many members came forward and spontaneously donated about Rs.75,000. Furthur members suggested few names from whome donations can be collected. All the members shared their views in the meeting.

The President shared the latest developments about shed construction.The members who has not contributed yet, gave donations for construction. Few members contributed for second time.
27. The Main Entrance Door frame fixture Pooja was performed on 26th April, 2024 at 10:44 AM. Senior Citizens in large number participated in the programme and expressed their full cooperation to the Executive Committee.
28. The 21st monthly meeting was held on 6th May, 2024 at 5.00PM in the premises of Senior Citizen Welfare Association Building. All the members extended birthday greetings to the members born in in the month of May. Narasimha Rao Garu shared the details of the construction of building. Venu Mohana Rao Garu put forward the financial report till date. Dr. CM Prabhu Garu suggested to conduct a chit which gives income to the association and every body accepted and came forward to pay Rs5000 per month. The first month amount will be given to Association. Remaining amount is distributed to members on the basis of draw. Pandurangaiah Garu and Jayanth Kumar Garu were requested to plan about the amount, term and method of draw and payment
29. The 22nd monthly meeting of senior citizen welfare association was held ON 3rd June, 2024 in the premises of our office at 5:00 PM. Birthday greetings were extended by all members to the members born in the month of June. Narasimha Rao Garu explained the developments in the building construction. All the members expressed their opinion about construction of building and the future needs. The members including chit holders unanimously decided to pay an equal amount of Rs55,000/- every month to the winner in the draw. Draw will be held on 10th of and amount will be paid on 12th of every month. Dr CM Prabhu Garu explained about ECG, 2D echo, Cardiogram, TMT, CT scan and Angiogram. In “DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU” program.
30. After extending birthday greetings of the members born in July, A. Ramulu (ID No. 94) introduced himself to the association members. The President explained detals of building construction and future plans. The members unanimously agreed to run another chit of Rs5000 per month with the comossion of Rs5000 each to meet the expenses of association. K.Krishnamurty garu won the draw held for first chit (Series 1). The meeting was concluded with voteof thanks by P Bhaskar garu.
31. Birthday greetings were extended to all members born in August. D. Sudhakar won the draw in the first chit (series 1). The second chit (series 2) started. this first month chit amount is paid to Association. Details of building were discussed. The efforts of Narasimha Rao garu VenumohanaRao garu and Pandu rangaiah garu in the completion of building construction was appreciated with claps. It was decided to inagurate the building on 12th of August, 2024 at 5.00 am. Volunteers were requested to to be helpful in the Inaguration function to make it a grand success. Discussed about the first independence day celebrations in the association building. Dr. Prabhu garu spoke about possible deceases precautions and their remidies.
32. A grand successful inagural function of SENIOR CITIZEN BHAVAN was held from 5.00am to 4.00 pm with sponsored breakfast and lunch.
33. The first Independence day program was celebrated at association Office. The President hoisted the tri-colored National flag at 830 am. the large gathering of senior citizens witnessed the hoisting of National flag.
34. The 25th monthly meeting held on 9th September,2024. After greeting the members who has birthday in September, President expressed is happiness for conducting the first monthly meeting in our own building. He also thanked Ch. Hanumanth Rao Garu for his generous help by providing Grills to windows and 50-inch TV worth about Rs55,000, excluding the previous donation of Rs15,000.
Venu Mohan Rao Garu presented the financial statement in brief with a deficit of Rs1,75,000-00.
Dr CM Prabhu Garu explained about viral diseases in the program “DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU”.
Dr CM Prabhu Garu announced to organize health camp from 8.00 AM to 10:30 AM on 5th of every month at his own cost. This month health camp is going to be held on 16th third Monday.
The draw was held by the members for the chit of Series -1. Ramachandruni Subrahmanya Sai Garu won the draw.

The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked Dr. Prabhu Garu and Dr. Sudha Rani Garu for the greate contribution of conducting Medical camp every month.
36. The October 2024 medical camp was organized in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 15-10-2024 from 8.00 am to 11.30 am with the sponrship of Dr. C. Manik Prabbu garu.
The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked Dr. Prabhu Garu for the greate contribution of conducting Medical camp.
37. A WELLNESS CAMP was conducted in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 27-10-2024 from 4.00 PM to 6.30 PM by BMS Wellnest organization.
38. The 27th meeting was held on 9th November, 2024 at 5.00 PM in senior citizen Bhavan.
The President thanked all the donors for their contribution towards tables, chairs, benches, Almirahs and wash room construction.
All the members having birthday in November were greeted happy birthday.
It was decided to enhance AMC Rs 500/- to Rs1000/- with effect from January. Karteeka vanabhOjanaalu Get-together to be conducted on 27th November,2024 at Senior Citizen Bhavan from 11.00AM to 5.00PM with tea, lunch, evening snacks, tea along with entertainment program.
Draw was held for both the chits, Winner of series – 1 is Dr. C. Manik Prabhu and for series – 2 is K. Kistaiah.
The Monthly Medical camp will be conducted on 16th of November, 2024 from 8.00AM to 11.00AM in the senior citizen bhavan.
39. A Medical Camp was organized at Senior Citizen Bhavan on 16th November 2024 from 8.30 AM to 11.00 AM.
40. The Kaarteeka Vana Bhojana Mahotsavam was celebrated on 27th November 2024. The event began with the Kaarteeka Deepotsavam (lightning of diyaas) at the Amla tree. The president addressed the participants, sharing insights about the need, formation and development of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association. Following this, the couples were introduced. After a delicious lunch, the program continued with singing and a Tambola game. The event reached its highlight with a dance performance by both singles and couples. The program concluded with feedback and a vote of thanks.
41. The Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav Garu was honoured by members in senior citizen bhavan. President Jayanth Kumar offered heartfelt thanks to the Corporator. The corporator assured Senior Citizens that he will be along with senior citizens in all aspects.
42. The 28th General body meeting was held on 9th December 2024.
Birthday greetings were extended by all the members to the members born in December.
New members were introduced and invited in to the association.

As per byelaws, and two-year term was completed; election notification was released for all the 9 posts.
The election date is decided as 9th January 2025, in the regular General body meeting.
An election officer is going to be appointed on 2nd or 3rd January 2025. Nominations / filled-in proposals duly signed will have to be submitted to Acting General Secretary K. Pandurangaiah garu or to the appointed election officer in a sealed cover.
After the general body meeting, election will be held if necessary and an oath taking program after winners are declared. The elected Executive Committee can nominate from members of the association for unfilled posts if any.
The Executive committee can appoint sub-committees as and when required, binding to the byelaws.
43. Our MLA Arikepudi Gandhi Garu was invited to senior Citizen Bhavan on 15th December 2024. The association members were very much excited to honour the MLA. The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar thanked MLA Garu for suggesting the suitable place for Senior Citizen Bhavan and great support for fonstructing such a beautiful building for senior citizens. He briefly explained dificulties in constructing the building. The MLA Gandhi Garu promised that he will behind senior citizens always. He suggested the committee to grow only useful plants and trees that produce fruits,flowers and medicinal plants.
44. The HUDA Trade Centre Colony President Srinivas Goud Garu was honoured by Senior Citizen members at Senior Citizen Bhavan on 18th December 2024.
45. The association organized a One-day CPR training Program on 21 December 2024 by Dr. M Sreedhar Consultant & Head of Emergency Medicine, Citizen Hospital, Nallagandla.
46. The new year celebrations took palce in Senior Citizen Bhavan in a grand way from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on 1st January 2025. and the women division celebrates new year celebrations on 2nd January 2025.
47. As per BYELAWS and resolution passed in 28th Gneral Body meeting P. Satyanarayana Murty Garu Lt. Col. has been appointed as election officer and took charge on 3rd January 2025. He opened the process for submition of Nominations from 3rd to 9th January 2025. After closing the nominations a withdrawal time for 15 minutes will be given. Elections will be conducted if needed. Then announcement of results, Oath-Taking ceremony will be followed.
48. The 29th General body meeting was held on 9th January 2025 at 4:00 PM in Senior Citizen Bhavan. After welcoming the members newmembers introduced to the association. all the members greeted a happy birthday to the members born in January. Treasurer V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu presented the detailed financial report and it was accepted by General Body. The president disolved the executive body.
Election officer started election process for 2025 & 2026 by taking nominations, scrutiny of nominations, calling for withdrawals. There was only one nomination for each post of the main body, and hence, the election officer declared the results as unanimously elected body.

Latter all the elected office bearers spoke a few words about future plans to develop the association and its activities.
49. The 76th Republic celebrations were organised in a grand way in Senior Citizen Bhavan. Unveiling of the National flag was held at 8:30 AM. After completing the unveiling of National Flag, all the senior citizens attended Republic day celebration at Green park in HTC colony.
In the evening cultural programs started at 3:30 PM with singing of patriotic songs. Then, a skit followed by Prize distribution. Finally, General Secretary V. Narasimha Rao Garu presented vote of thanks.
50. A Medical camp with the help of doctors and technicians team from Citizens hospital was held on 2nd of February 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
The Health Check Package consisted of Height, Weight, BMI, BP, GRBS, ECG, Physician Consultation along with Ophthalmology and Dental check up.
51. The 30th General Body meeting was held on 9th Februry 2025 at 5:00 PM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan. After birthday greetings and inviting new members in to the association. The nominated exicutive members were called on to the dias and Oath-taking performed by the nominated exicutive members. The nominated Convener Organising committee P. Bhaskar, Convener Games and Cultural Committee V. Yadaiah and were called on to the dias and introduced to the members of association. Both chits were drawn. K. Vijay Kumar (SBI) won in the series 1 and Prakash Reddy won in series 2. The treasurer Venu mohana Rao presented financial report in the General Body meeting. General body decided to spend AMC money only for maintanance unless it is decided by the exicutive committee. Any function or any activity can be performed with the money collected in the form of donation or can look forward for a sponrship. Dr. C. Manik Prabhu spoke about body pains and possible exercises to avoide them in DOCTOR GARI SALAHALU program.
52. All deemed members (spouses of members) celebrated International Women's day on 8th of March 2025 in the senior citizen bhavan.
53. The Therty first General Body meeting was held on 9th of March 2025 at 5:30 PM. After new members introduction, birthday greetings and Doctor gari Salahalu, the get-together at ICRISAT was arranged on 23rd March 2025 with a participation fee of Rs 700 per person. The need of Community in whats App group and need of visitors book was explained it was agreed by all the members.
54. A Get-together party in ICRISAT was organized on 23 March 2025 from 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM with breakfast, lunch and snacks in the evening with tea/coffee in millet cups.
A recriational program was conducted in the afternoon session.
55. "UGADI SAMABARAALU" program was organized in Senior Citizen Bhavan on 30th March on the occation of Telugu new year.
56. The Therty second General Body meeting was held on 9th of April 2025 at 5:30 PM. After new members introduction, birthday greetings, Lakshman Goud garu sponsored Shawls to members having birthday in April. Under "Doctor gari Salahalu" program Dr C. M. Prabhu Garu explained various diseases of mouth and throat, chit winners are Yadaiah Garu and MVV Kameswar Rao Garu. Chit amount Rs55,000 was handed over to Yadaiah garu. President thanked all the members for enourmous cooperation in organizing, get-together at ICRISAT, Ugadi sambaralu in the office. G. V. Rao Garu submitted the details of Get-togethe account and left-over Rs 1775 was handed over to to the association.
57. All Deemed Members (spouses of members) had meeting on 13th of April 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan.
58. The felicitation of Jagadeeswar Goud Garu was organised on 28th April 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall at 6 PM. Jagadeeswar Goud garu promised to support senior citizens always.
57. Meeting of all Deemed Members (spouses of members) was organised on 5th of May 2025 in the Senior Citizen Bhavan from 4 PM to 7 PM.
58. The Therty third General Body meeting was held on 9th of May 2025 from 5:30 PM onwards. After new members introduction, birthday greetings, Lakshman Goud garu sponsored Shawls to members having birthday in May. The second series lottery of the association’s chit fund was conducted, and A. Subbarao Garu emerged as the winner. A new chit started with Rs 10000.00 subscription to clear the remaining debts. Treasurer & Finance Secretary V. Venu Mohan Rao Garu, provided details of the donors who contributed financially or in kind towards the construction of the building. The responsibility for maintaining the stock register and office records was assigned to K.K. Sharma Garu. The President emphasized the need to create a reserve fund for events like Independence Day, Republic Day, and for repairs and garden maintenance. Some members proposed a voluntary contribution of around ₹5,000 per person. The meeting unanimously resolved to increase the membership fee for new members to ₹5,000, broken down as follows: ₹200 (Membership), ₹1,000 (AMC), and ₹3,800 (Reserve Fund).
A two-minute silence was observed during the April 28 meeting in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam attacks, praying for the peace of their souls. In solidarity with the Government of India and our armed forces, all members collectively took the following Solidarity Pledge:

59. The Therty fourth General body meeting was held on 9th june 2025 from 5PM onwards in senior citizen bhavan meeting hall. Newmembers T Devender Reddy Garu, Palakurthy Shyam Kumar Garu and Tangirala Sita rama Rao Garu were invited in to the association. A homage was paid the soul of Late seetaramanjaneyulu who passed away on 15th May 2025. Mebers having birthday in June were honoured with Shawl with courtesy of Ch. Lakshman Goud Garu. Fanancial updates of recent transactions were explained by V. Venumohan Rao Garu. The President congradulated and thanked all the contributers for makung the association debt-free. President also congradulated the donors of inveter. V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu explained about dital payment method using QR code. President in his remarks said that there are no groups in the association. all are senior citizen association family members only. No tag of Joly friends should be used for photos tag must be only senior citizens.
60. HEARING TEST CAMP was organized by Senior Citizen Welfare Association in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall on 21st June 2025 from 10;30 AM to 2:00 PM with the courtesy of Aanvi hearing solutions. 53 members utilized the facility.
61. GURU PURNIMA celebrations were organised by Senior Citizen Welfare Association in the Senior Citizen Bhavan meeting hall with the initiation of V. Yadaiah Garu at 6:30PM on 10th of July 2025. The Gurus honoured by the association were; K. Krishna Murty Garu, Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar Garu, Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu, K. Pandu Rangaiah Garu, S. Madhusudhan Rao Garu, Maruthiram Garu, I. Shouraiah Garu, Dr. Gogu Venkateswar Rao Garu (An invitee). Later, participating members and honourees shared their views, feelings and experiences in the felicitation meeting.
62. The 35th meeting was held on 21st July 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Meeting Hall. The new members K. Vijayanand Garu, V.P. Raju Garu and Tangirala Seeta Rama Rao Garu were cordially invited in to the association with claps. A 2-minute silence was observed for the sad demise of Dr. C. Sudha Rani, convenor womens wing. Many people shared their experiences with her. The third series chit draw was conducted. the winner is K. Buchi Reddy Garu. The birthday celebrations for the members born in July were conducted. honouring them with shalws and claps. the meeting was adjourned with vote of thanks by Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu.
63. The meeting of women's wing was held on 3rd August 2025 from 3;30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. Mrs Rama Sita was elected as Convenor for women's wing.
64. The 36th meeting was held on 9th August 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The new members V. P Raju Garu, K. Vijayanand Garu and P. L. Sreenivas Garu were cordially invited in to the association with claps. K. Vijayanand Garu and P. L. Sreenivas Garu introduced themselves to the association members. The birthday celebrations of the members born in August were conducted by honouring them with shawls and claps. It was announced that, the 79th Independence Day celebrations will start with tricolored flag hosting at 8:30 am on 15th August 2025. The 4th chit of third series was conducted by G. Venkateswar Rao Garu. Dr. S. Manohar Rao Garu was selected as winner by lottery. The Finance Secretary cum Treasurer V. Venomohana Rao Garu submitted latest position of financial status of Association. The present status is with zero balance. V. Narasimha Rao Garu and many others spoke about corpus fund. President declared that the corpus fund is voluntary donation. He requested the members to pay for smooth running of association. Finally, The Ex-President of Colony Narasimha Reddy Garu was felicitated by Association members.
65. The Association members attended Vratam after marriage of Bhattiprolu Sai Ram son of Maruthi Ram Garu association member on 10th August 2025 and blessed the couple.
66. The Association Members felicitated Ragam Nagender Yadav Garu Corporator SeriLingampally on his birthday celebration on 10th August 2025.
67. The tricolor Natioal flag was hoisted by the President of association at 8:30AM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan on 15th August 2025 in the 79th Independence day celebrations.
68. The World Senior Citizen Day was celebrated on 21st August 2025 at Senior Citizen Bhavan. A group photo was taken after refreshments.
69. Teacher's Day was celebrated on 5th September in a grand way by honouring the teacher-members of the association.
70. The Women members Meeting was held on 4th September 2025 in the senior citizen meeting hall. Various activities were organised during meeting period 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
71. The 37th General Body meeting was held on 9th September 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The new members Y V Chalapathi Rao Garu and Penta Reddy Garu were cordially invited into the association with claps. They both, introduced themselves to the association members. The birthday celebrations of the members born in August were conducted by honouring them with shawls and claps. President thanked all the members for making all the programs successful. The 5th chit of third series was conducted jointly by K. Pandurangaiah Garu and G. Venkateswar Rao Garu. D. Sudhakar Garu won the lottery. The President put forth an apeal for generous contribution to the association. He requested enthoustic senior citizens to participate in the story writing compitition as detals are already shared in group. The president shared a message of being like a pencil, with the help of pencil and eraser story and folded paper story.Tthe meeting was concluded with vote of thanks.
72. On the occation of Alzheimers day 21st september, the Senior Citizen Team attended an awareness program at Citizen Hospital, Nallagandla on 20th September 2025, to take necessary precautions to avoid it and steps for taking care of patients suffering from Alzheimers.
73. On the occation of World Heart Day on 29th September celebrated on 28th September, 2025 with awareness talk by Dr. Pthuri Avinaash Cosultant-Interventional Cardiologist from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. Then all the partcipants were undergone BP, random blood sugar tests along with 2-D Echo with the help of Citizen hospital staff from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The program was initiated by T. Ramaswaamy, convener, Friends wefare association.
74. Alai Balai program was held at Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall in the evening of 3rd Octobar, 2025. All the participant members greeted each other and shared their views about the importence of alai balai program. Refreshments were served at the end of program. The program cocluded with Group photo.
75. Women members meeting was held at Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall in the evening on 5th Octobar, 2025 from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
76. The 38th General Body meeting was held on 9th October 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in October. President reminded the members to pay corpus fund dues. The draw for the 6th chit of third series was conducted. Ch. Lakshman Garu won the lotery. Dr C. Manik Prabhu Garu spoke abot Dementia, the precautions and the care to be taken. Karteeka vanabhojanaalu (an in-home get-together) is going to be organised in the month of November 2025. A committee is going to be constituted to plan the program. President thanked the team members for attending V Venu Mohana Rao Garu, Dr. S Manohar Rao Garu, D Sudhakar Garu and wishing them for their speedy recovery. President also thanked the members for making Alzheimer's day, world heart day with health camp and Alai Balai programs successful. The president in his thoughtful talk suggested the members to consider any member's message as a way of letting us know that he is healthy and active even if the message is unnecessary and irrelevant. He further added that, regardless of position or designation we retired from, we all are equal after retirement, such as the king, minister, or any other pawn in the chess, lie in the same box after the game, we simply call them pawns. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by V Narasimha Rao Garu.
77. The Deepavali Sambaraalu program was celebrated on 20th October 2025 from 6:30 pm onwards. All the members gathered to celebrate deepavali sambaraalu at senior citizen bhavan by 6:30 PM. All the members shared their views of organizing a gettogether on Diwali day. All the members greated mutually. Later refreshments (sweets and hot) was served to members. Finally, all the members enjoyed in lighting the crakers.
78. The 39th General Body meeting was held on 9th November 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in November. The draw for the 7th chit of third series was conducted. A. Ramulu Garu won the lotery. The President announced that the Kartika vabhojanaamlu Get-together will be on 13 November, 2025 from 10AM to 6PM. President announced that the MOU has been signed with Star Hospitals under the programm STAR SAMMAAN for benifit of the senior members. A free mega health camp is going to be organized on 23rd November, 2025 by Star Hospitals.
79. The Kaartika Vana Bhojanaalu Program was held on 13th November 2025 from 10:00 am to 6.00pm in Senior Citizen Bhavan. The program started with lightning diyas near Amla tree and worshiping it. A meeting was followed by pooja. The importence of lightining diyas, importence of Amla tree was shared by B. Annapoorna Rao Garu and Jayanth Kumar Garu. Lunch was arranged under the trees. The entertainment programs like, Tambola, singing songs, Antyakshari, Musical chairs program was conducted. Vasantha Kumari was sellected as woman of the day and B. Srinivas Rao as man of the day by the lottery. Snacks and tea were served in the evening. The program ended with vote of thanks to all members for making the program grand success.
80. The Mega Health Camp was held by Star Hospitals on 23rd November 2025 from 09:00 am to 2 pm in Senior Citizen Bhavan. The camp consisted of RBS test, BP and Weight check, Orthopedic, opthamology, Dental, Pulmanory Function Test, ECG, 2D Echo, Internal Medicine and Physician consltation were arraged. 75 members Utilised this opportunity.
President thanked all the members for making the program a grand success.
81. The Citizens Sweet Circle Program was held by Citizen Hospitals, Nallagandla on 29th November 2025 from 3PM to 6PM in their meeting hall.
The Senior Citizen Team attended the program on a personal invitation extended by the organizing committee, led by Dr. Anusha Patimalla.
During the session, a panel of doctors delivered insightful presentations on diabetes, including its types, causes, and recommended preventive measures. Several speakers also reflected on ancient practices and traditional games, highlighting their role in promoting overall well-being and healthy living. They further discussed the impact of modern lifestyles and how present-day habits are contributing to declining health.
The President of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association, Dr. Jayanth Kumar, was invited to the dais to share his views on the connection between ancient and modern wellness systems, and on the importance of passing knowledge and experiences of grandparents to the younger generations whenever and wherever possible.
The program concluded with a friendly get-together over tea and snacks, followed by the distribution of return gifts to all participants.
82. The 40th General Body meeting was held on 9th December 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started with birthday celebration of the members born in December. The 8th chit of third series lucky draw was conducted. K. Pandurangaiah Garu won the lotery. He was paid an amount of Rs 120000/- as chit amount. The Finance Secretary V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu submitted the account pertaining to Karteeka Vanabhojanaalu. The deficit amount of Rs1200.00 was met from association account. The president in his address requested the members to pay Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) before end of December 2025, so that it becomes easy to allot budget in forth comming year 2026. President furthur announced that the association has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on 25th November 2025 with Citizen Hospitals. All the members can utilize the benifits of MOU. Individuals aged 60 years and above are eligible for free membership. The Association-issued ID card may be used as proof of membership.
83. The Conference of 2025-Health Reality and 2026- Health Resolutions was held by Star Hospitals on 23th of December 2025 in PRAMANA KNOWLEDGE HUB meeting hall at Star Hospitals Nanakramguda. In this conference, various diseases that are common in youth were discussed and outcomes were given as resolutions to be taken in the comming year named as 2026-Year of Healing. On the invitation of Star Hospitals Management, the team of senior citizens attended the program and understood the common mistakes we do. Depending on the Reality Check in 2025, decided to take Health Resolutions tobe implimented in 2026-Year of Healing.
84. The New Year Celebrations - 2026 were held in a grand way on 1st January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan Premises from 11am to 6pm. Members and deemed members attended the program in large number. The lunch and snacks were sponsored by few members of the association. The Tambola and singing songs were part of the program. The atteded members and deemed members shared their feed back of the program.
85. The 41st General Body meeting was held on 9th January 2026 from 5:30 pm onwards in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. The meeting started by inviting new members Mr. K. Tippeswamy Garu, Mr. K. Seetaramayya Garu and Mr. Gummadi Durgaprasad Garu. After inviting and self introduction. The members who have birthday in January were felicitated with shawls and greetings. The 9th chit of third series lucky draw was conducted. M. Anand Prasad Garu won the lotery. Mr. Kashi Viswanath Garu spoke about Army Day tobe held on 15 January. Mr. V. Yadaiah Garu thanked all the members for making the Newyear celebrations successful. The balance amount of Rs1100.00 left over after expences was handedover to the President of association. The President explained all the games programs and program schdule on Republic day celebration on 26th January, 2026. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. K. Pandurangaiah Garu
86. The GHMC Sanction Order for Financial Assistance of Rs50,000.00 for procurement of material and Rs6,000.00 per month as care taker salary, vide Proc.No.UCD/GHMC/2025/382687, Dated 20.01.2026.
The President anounced about this financial assistant to the senior citizen members and it was celebrated by Senior Citizens on 20th January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall.
87. The Voters day celebrations were organised from 24th to 26th January 2026. On 24th January 2026, Dr Jayanth Kumar Garu President oh the association along with Jt. Secretary K Pandurangaiah Garu were invited by Dy. Commissioner, Serilingampally. DC honoured them with shawl and flower pot. The voters day pledge was taken by all the members. On the next day 25th January 2026, all the exicutive members took an othe on the occation of voters day. On the next day on the occation of Republic day, 26th January 2026, the importance of voters day was explained by president of association, all the members took pledge to be impartial and to vote as per law without any kind of selfish moto.
88. The Republic Day Celebration was organised on 26th January 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan.
On the occation of Republic day celebrations Games and Sports were coducted for senior members and deemed members from 16th January to 24th January 2026.
Unfurling of National Flag at the top of flagpole was performed by the President of association.
The 'Vandemataram' song written by Bankim chandra Chatterjee in his novel 'Anand Math' on November 7,1875, during Akshaya Navami. This song took an important role in Independence-War. As this song completed 150 years, the Central Government announced to celebrate "Year-Long Commemoration" from November 7, 2025 to November 7, 2026. In this context, 'Full Song of Vandemataram' was sung by Senior Citizen Members and Deemed Members along with T Seetha Rama Rao Garu.
Later, all the participants took pledge on account of 'Voter day" on 25th January.
The prize distribution was done by the hands of President.
The program was cocluded with refreshments served to the members.
89. The The 42nd Monthly Meeting was held on 9th February 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan at 5.00 PM.
After bitthday celebrations, Finaance secretary cum Treasurer presented Financial report pertaining to 2025 and members approved the report with a standing ovation.
Representatives from ICICI Bank, Lingampally Branch, explained to senior citizens the simple procedure for completing KYC. the steps to be taken be seniors to be cautious about cyber crimes.
The 10th chit draw was conducted, Mr. K. Vijay Kumar won the lucky draw and the amount has been disbursed to him.
All GHMC officers were thanked by the President of association for sactioning Rs50,000.00 for devilopment of aminities and Rs6000.00 per month for honororium of care-taker.
90. The Free Hearing Test Camp was held on 14th Februry 2026 in Senior Citizen Bhavan from 9:30 AM to 1.00 PM.
'HEARZAP' hearing aid providers sponsored this free camp. Furthur they assured to provide hearing instrument to needy people at a discounted rate.
Many colony residents also utilized this opportunity of free hearing test program.
91. The Special 43rd Meeting was held on 17th Februry 2026 in the presence of Smt V. Nagamalliswari Garu, the Project officer, GCMC, Serilingampally circle in Senior Citizen Bhavan from 11:00 AM onwards.
The Project officer expressed her happiness by looking at the maintanance of building and the garden arround it.
The main purpose of this meeting was 'formation of Aasara Committee'. As per the directions of the Project officer, Aasara committee members were elected unanimously. The minutes of the meeting were signed by members and a copy of minutes was submitted to the Project officer.
The senior citizen members thanked the Project officer for helping them in the sanction of financial assistance to the association. The President of the association felicitated the Project officer with shawl.
The meeting was adjourned with vote of thanks and National Anthem.
